Job Description

The SAP ERP Analyst V coordinates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements by understanding workflow, goals, and processes. Analyzes business needs and processes to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Being an SAP ERP Analyst V documents business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization. Acts as liaison between the development teams and business stakeholders to ensure that SAP solutions align with business objectives. In addition, SAP ERP Analyst V analyzes system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities to improve processes and SAP functionality. Generates and monitors regular reports to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of SAP applications. Communicates with SAP vendors to troubleshoot and resolve questions or issues. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being an SAP ERP Analyst V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
