Job Description

The SVP of Pricing Policy oversees research and analysis to develop insights about customers, competition, geographies, market segments, capacity, and business environment. Leads the development and design of research methodologies, pricing strategies, and tactics for product lines and market segments that optimize sales, revenue, and market penetration. Being a SVP of Pricing Policy drives the creation of models, tools, and databases used to test pricing and maintain responsiveness to changes in the competitive environment. Collaborates with teams across functions to develop targets, promotions, new products, and go-to-market pricing. In addition, SVP of Pricing Policy requires a bachelor's degree in business or related discipline. Typically reports to top management. The SVP of Pricing Policy manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.
