Evaluates and analyzes product requirements, objectives, and constraints and develops technical and functional specifications for mechanical products. Being a Mechanical Product Engineer I identifies appropriate materials and processes to develop effective solutions that meet the outlined specifications and manufacturing cost requirements. Prepares technical documents detailing designs, instructions, and specifications.
