Payroll Administrator II is responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, and distribution of payroll via the payroll system. Reviews the computation of pay and ensures the company payroll policies are in accordance with the government regulations. Being a Payroll Administrator II responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks. May coordinate payroll with outside service provider. Additionally, Payroll Administrator II may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a Payroll Manager. The Payroll Administrator II gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Payroll Administrator II typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
