Production Revenue Accountant I completes the processes and tasks required for oil and gas revenue accounting using established practices and methods. Books revenue, performs reconciliations, prepares analysis, and calculates and distributes royalty checks. Being a Production Revenue Accountant I submits and prepares reports and filings that comply with applicable regulations and practices. Familiar with specialized oil and gas software used to optimize accounting operations. Additionally, Production Revenue Accountant I has experience and knowledge of accounting practices that are specific to the oil and gas industry. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Revenue Accountant I work is closely managed.
