Reservoir Engineering Manager manages the identification, evaluation, and recovery of oil and gas reserves. Promotes and implements engineering tools and principles to design and test new techniques or technology to improve reservoir performance and efficiency. Being a Reservoir Engineering Manager leads and oversees the process of estimating, assessing, and planning oil and gas production and development projects. Utilizes analytical models and simulations to determine optimal exploitation methods, design equipment, and evaluate drilling and depletion strategies. Additionally, Reservoir Engineering Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Reservoir Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
