What is the role and where can you add value?

2-10 Home Buyers Warranty is seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our Contractor Onboarding team.  In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming new contractors to the 2-10 HBW network. By enrolling high quality contractors and providing consistent, thorough, high-quality contractor training, the Contractor Onboarding Specialist will set 2-10 HBW’s service expectations as it pertains to receiving and completing service work within our claims process.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Meets monthly enrollment expectations in targeted areas, within pricing targets, with the best-skilled contractors available.
  • Reviews training material and curriculum with external contractors via video, telephone, web-conferencing or any other applicable media.
  • Responsible for coordinating the contractor’s start date with the organization, after ensuring a thorough understanding of all training material.
  • Ensures there is a firm level of the contractor’s understanding of HBW policy, procedures and billing practices that deliver best claims-practices.
  • Reviewing documents as required to ensure contractors meet HBW’s qualifications for enrolment into our network.
  • Manage the schedule for all contractor training, for all necessary forums, such as pricing, billing process, self-service tools, direct supply expectations, service expectations, etc.
  • Distribute manuals, passwords and guidelines, as needed and updates tracking of contractor’s onboarding status.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What skills and experience should you bring to this role?

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Strong research and documentation skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Project Management skills a plus
  • Knowledge of business and information systems environment
  • Experience in business writing
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
