What is the role and where can you add value?

The ideal candidate will be a CRM and Email expert able to lead our acquisition and retention email campaigns.  Builds, executes and manages campaigns to increase customer acquisition, retention and drive revenue.  Accountable for email performance and serve as an internal subject matter expert.  Optimizes available resources and works with internal partners to help execute online and offline strategies supporting behavioral-based marketing.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Is the subject matter expert on email campaigns and has the willingness to help execute
  • Identifies opportunities with key B2C segments, develops and presents proposals to prioritize opportunities
  • Leads the development of marketing and promotional materials and strategies furthering the member experience and ultimately renewal/retention
  • Identifies infrastructure and process enhancements and supports and leads respective initiatives to improve campaign development and management
  • Monitors and analyzes metrics and outcomes for email campaign
  • Regularly work with other team members to ideate on new campaigns, automations, strategies and workflows to help drive member engagement across our audiences.
  • Strategic planning and executing of channel marketing, channel benchmarks, competitive analysis and trends
  • Other duties as assigned

What skills and experience should you bring to this role?

  • Experience providing creative direction, building audience segments, and optimizing funnels for email campaigns
  • Proven track record for driving consumer businesses with a customer-centric perspective and marketing/product development orientation
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing technology capabilities including best practices and continual advancement utilizing CRM data
  • Superb communication, influencing and project management skills; aptitude to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Ability to translate objectives into actionable plans
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce marketing cloud or other marketing automation tools a plus
