The Marketing Automation Manager is an essential part of the Sales and Marketing Team, directing and supporting the entire organizations customer journey initiatives. The primary objective of the Marketing Automation/Customer Journey Manager is to develop, build and execute customer journeys and strategies to achieve customer acquisition and retention. You will own, and be the expert on the organizations enablement platform and all-related efforts to ensure performance. The ideal candidate will have experience working across multiple marketing automation platforms and data sources in order to move buyers through the entire funnel. A passion for B2B and B2C marketing and driving results is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and demonstrable success with marketing automation and customer journey mapping and implementation, to include and exceed duties listed in this job description. Must have outstanding skills in Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and proficiency with SQL, HTML and CSS. Able to lead a team, strong interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills and solid project management skills. Minimum amount of travel may be required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Marketing or related field; MBA or advanced Marketing degree advantageous. Minimum of 5 years related experience and 1 to 2 years managing a team. Prefer experience in an annual renewal category leveraging email marketing campaigns.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to speak to both tactical and strategic decision makers; ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with senior executives.
