What is the role and where can you add value?

The Sales Operations Manager - Large Builder will lead the development of the Large Builder acquisition and retention strategies as well as act as key liaison between the Sales and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of all project and tactics.  They will foster an environment that is committed to supporting our large builder efforts leveraging various teams or individuals in order to provide an outstanding customer experience and address each customer's evolving needs.  Proactively lead efforts to onboard and manage new large builder customers and own responsibility for communication between the large builder team and the builders.  In this position, you can add value by being one of a few contacts for any of the customers' needs or issues once the builder becomes a member.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development, further advancement and execution of existing or future large builder strategies through hands-on approach to understand and drive the requirements for documentation and all other necessary assistance to keep sales focused on selling and share that information across the organization
  • Drive the development of a tracking dashboard and metrics to manage to 2-10 standards and SLA agreements set forth by 2-10HBW leadership team
  • Assist builder members (potential, current and previous) and sales team, inclusive of all onboarding activities (via phone, webinars, video calls, F2F when appropriate, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot key issues that affect the builder’s experience with 2-10, inclusive of root cause and develop long-term solutions to improve both experiences
  • Work with New Home leadership, sales operations and all related 2-10 team members as a support resource to meet project timelines and deliverables
  • Plan, develop and train policies and procedures for rolling out best practices to New Home
  • Coach, develop and train team resources to provide development and career opportunities
  • Meets with business stakeholder and end-users to ensure core business needs are addressed
  • Meets regularly with business operation stakeholders to discuss new initiatives, and evaluate the impact on current projects
  • Develop and present status reporting to various audiences (all leadership levels)
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Does not supervise employees
  • Contribute to interview and hiring decisions, training, directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees and other general management and supervisory duties

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of sales relate experiences and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Excellent customer service, communication, and PC skills are required.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
