2 Brothers Moving & Delivery has an opportunity for a full-time Assistant Operations Manager who is especially skilled in creating consistent and efficient systems and managing people to exceed client expectations. 2 Brothers is a high demand business needing leadership that is motivated to help us scale to meet demand while maintaining the 2 Brothers brand and culture standards.

Role (Duties):

This role will perform the following functions on a regular basis:

• Field Crew Leadership (70%) - Manage the daily activities of crews in the field, and lead the successful completion of moving projects. Complete long haul moving projects, and set the example for staff performance in the field.
• Training Facilitator (15%) - Teach, coach, and mentor our talented staff in the responsibilities of their role, and provide continued leadership development to Crew Lead Apprentices in the company.
• Operations (10%) - Oversee the day to day operations of the business, people and equipment. Manage the scheduling of moving teams and equipment. Coordinate long distance move logistics, and resource assignment. Conduct field estimates, and site surveys to ensure successful job completion.
• Culture Leadership (5%) - Support company-wide and team-enhancing events, celebrations, displays of successes, victories and overall company fun. Be an ambassador of our core values, and set the example for field operations.

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and supervises 5 personnel, and serves as an example of our core values and high quality service to the company.

The Work Environment:
Work in the field involves fast-paced, high intensity, physically challenging work with a heavy emphasis on teamwork, coordination and client contact. The Assistant Operations Manager will have periodic office days to complete field estimates, site inspections, and administrative work as required. As a company leader, the Assistant Operations Manager is expected to set the example for both office and field teams in professional conduct, and gain an in-depth first-hand knowledge of our service.

The ideal Assistant Operations Manager will play an instrumental role in taking our team to the next level, they will:

Obtain 75 five star online reviews over the next 2 years with less than 2 negative reviews.

Train, mentor, and develop 10 Crew Lead Apprentices to become Crew Leaders over 2 years while maintaining culture, team skill balance and quality of work.

Implement a plan to consistently execute staff on-boarding & training plans, ensuring expectations and tools for success are known & met for all staff members.

Increase materials accountability and sales to 70% or higher, and develop the crew lead training program to increase performance over the next 2 yrs.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate for this role will exhibit the following:

• The #1 Qualification: A team oriented, hard working, self-motivated individual with field leadership experience, able to hold teams accountable to company standards.
• Capability, willingness and desire to work alongside crews in the field and set an example for professional and high quality service.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a desire to engage with our clients and help them transition.
• Experience in leadership roles where assertive people management skills and proactive delegation capabilities were utilized and where the needs and motivation of entry-level staff members were integrated.
• Proven history of a personal improvement focus with an always learning mentality, bringing outside knowledge into the organization on a regular basis
• Moving industry experience a plus but not required, we will train the right candidate on our industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
