What does an Course Services Associate do at companies like 2U, Inc.?

 

 What We’re Looking For:

Sitting on the Course Assembly team in Curriculum & Learning, the Assembly Coordinators will be responsible for executing upon all course build tasks, either by building internally or triaging tickets with vendors, and executing any escalations and live course fixes through our CORD ticket workflow. This role will be the course build expert, and will receive ticket assignments through CLCA for build. Reporting to the Manager, Course Assembly, this group of coordinators will ensure all courses are built to the highest standards and on time. 

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  1. Execute course build tasks
  2. Triage and review build tickets from vendors
  3. Handle hot fix issues with live courses
  4. Assist with project completion for the Assembly Project Steering Committee

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university, Master’s degree is a plus;
  • Professional or personal experience with Learning Management Systems, web content-development and computer-based assessment or testing;
  • Professional experience with high stakes escalations;
  • Experience handling and tracking digital assets in a collaborative work environment;
