About You

3Q Digital is seeking a Manager of Internal Communications to join the Marketing and Communications team reporting to the Sr. Manager, Content and Communications. As the manager of internal communications, you will build a premier employer brand and drive the management of internal communications and content that creates connections among employees and with 3Q and its communities. The work ranges from continuous improvement of the systems and structures that support how people and teams communicate to executing strategy and content with clear, concise, and consistent messaging to planning and producing significant company-wide events and presentations. This role will work with diverse groups across the organization to tell powerful stories, design communications and change efforts, and help define communication standards and norms. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conceptualize and implement the internal communications strategy and channels that bring the 3Q culture to life and inspire internal audiences and potential incoming talent.
  • Partnering and building strong relationships with all levels of the organization to develop and roll out department-specific or company-wide communication plans and to ensure employees have the information they need to be successful at the micro and macro levels.
  • Working closely with the 3Q’s People Team and HR to ensure 3Q remains a place where all employees belong and are included.
  • Drive the ongoing management of 3Q’s internal communication framework and governance program specific to message content, timing, audience, frequency, and distribution as needed.
  • Lead the ongoing management of 3Q’s social engagement platform, intranet, and company review strategy.
  • Support company recognition and volunteer efforts to build employee engagement and culture.
  • Coordinate, write, edit, distribute, and measure effective and consistent internal communications materials. 
  • Ensure communications and activities are relevant, timely, optimized, and achieving measurable goals, while identifying and leveraging data to support targeted audience demographics and insights.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s history and the vision for where 3Q is headed, including maintaining a broad understanding of the needs and dynamics of each team to best advise them.
  • Regularly monitor industry trends, proactively create innovative and impactful ideas and content, and develop new programs to up level internal communications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of internal communications experience, preferably in digital marketing agency
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, including ability to present concepts verbally
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Personal discretion, as work may involve sensitive and confidential information
  • Relationship building and collaboration, ability to manage relationships with multiple internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye towards details
  • Ability to juggle and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining high quality and accuracy
  • Effective computer skills, including presentations, report generation, and digital media understanding (Pardot)
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach, delivering work with minimal supervision
