JOB SUMMARY

The firm is looking for an Associate Investment Banking professional to work directly with the senior investment team who are well known and respected in the Specialty Finance / Fin-Tech industry.  The ideal candidate will have the desire to learn every aspect of our multi-platform business, a wonderful opportunity to join a firm with a diversified growth strategy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Researching and analyzing possible acquisitions for the firm
• Modeling and helping to write memoranda for the board and investors
• Analyzing and modeling assigned current portfolios

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

• Competent at in-depth financial analysis
• Quantitative and detail oriented
• Excellent financial modeling skills
• Ability to write investment memoranda
• Ability to lead transactions and liaise with third parties and management teams
• Outstanding communication skill - written and verbal
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to delegate and supervise work for associates
• Understanding of M&A, securitization, capital markets and accounting
• Able to deliver results under tight deadlines and at times with minimal direct supervision
• Experience working with specialty finance firms is a PLUS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science in a related major (e.g. Economics, Finance, Accounting, Financial Engineering, etc.) from a top-tier program.
• Completion of a Bulge Bracket Analyst Program and / or buy-side deal experience is a MUST
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
