DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compile, process and maintain accounts payable records
• Support Accounts Payable Manager
• Able to prepare and process multiple checks for multiple companies on a weekly basis
• Verify approvals on all incoming invoices
• Update and maintain vendor database in SAP
• Direct support with the 1099 preparation process with Accounts Payables Manager

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

• Able to prepare and process multiple checks for multiple companies on a weekly basis
• Able to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
• Attention to detail, prioritize, multi-task Accounting vendor relations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with excel, word, QuickBooks, SAP, expense reporting and expensify
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Eye for detail and accuracy

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of experience working in an Accounts Payable role
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Background in Financial Services such as but limited to private equity, hedge fund, leasing and lending businesses. Preferred but not required
