JOB SUMMARY:

This is an opportunity for an experienced and driven business intelligence professional to join a rapidly growing private equity firm and play an integral role in the company’s growth and success. This position reports to the Director of BI and Portfolio Analytics in our office in Brickell, Miami, FL.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership, manage, and develop BI dashboards for portfolio companies that fall under the Insurance Vertical of 777 Partners
• Support senior management with financial, economic and strategic projects, including but not limited to: scenario-driven forecasts, business portfolio analytics, competitor and industry benchmarking, and key performance metrics (ROI, IRR, etc.)
• Assist Sutton National Insurance Company with the development, creation, and automation of dashboards, analysis, and reports for external clients
• Collaborate with Insurance Vertical stakeholders to create, maintain, and distribute KPI dashboards and reporting solutions offering users drill through capabilities and multivariate analytics
• Working with large and confidential data sets to augment the due diligence process on new deals with advanced data analytics
• Lead ad-hoc studies spanning customer demographics, retail agent behavior, premium collection patterns, TPA data feeds, rate/market studies to highlight trends and potential business opportunities, and other areas of interest
• Co-ordinate with internal IT department and/or external IT vendors on the automation of previously manual data verification/entry procedures
• Understand, review and be able to support management reports/dashboards across other verticals when back up support is required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Business Degree from a Tier 1 Business School or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant working experience in the insurance industry with a focus on Business Intelligence and Analytics
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• 3+ years of direct development experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SAS, SAS Visual Analytics, Python/R, and other applicable tools

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• CFA charter holder or working towards is a plus, but not required.
