JOB SUMMARY:

SuttonPark Capital is looking for a Servicing Assistant to support the Servicing department in many critical areas ranging from daily lock box reconciliation to following up with payees on a daily basis. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily retrieval of lock box deposits and posting the payment to the correct record. Updating records with notes.
• Identify delinquent payments for lockbox and initiate follow-up calls with Issuers.
• Daily reconciliation of daily cash lockbox report.
• Life Verification task including scheduling Life Verification Reminders, creating Life Verification Letters, In Lieu of Verification of Survival Statement Letters and Berwyn Death Search letters.
• Contacting Life Verification Payees and following up on the status of the signed statement, verifying mailing addresses and completing verbal proof of survival for Issuers that accept them. Updating each record with notes.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel Professional and similar applications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Associate’s Degree (2-year college) is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1+ years of experience working in a data entry or quality assurance role
