7PARK DATA Bookkeeper/Accountant Salary in the United States

The Bookkeeper will be joining a team of highly intelligent and resourceful finance professionals. This role will be vital in managing our day-to-day bookkeeping. This position requires a qualified individual to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent financial reporting in accordance with policies and procedures including but not limited to GAAP, federal, state, and local laws/regulations. 7Park Data is looking for a reliable professional with the ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and have a solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).

This position reports to the Controller of the Finance team.

Responsibilities:

•  Lead the monthly accounting close process, prepare, and review the monthly financial reports
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly analysis and journal entries for certain complex areas including:
  • Deferred revenue recognition
  • Capitalized software development costs
  • Intangible asset and other non-recurring transactions
• Administer billing and revenue system including configuration and mapping to accounting system to ensure proper recording of accounts and activity
• Full AR cycle – processing contracts, sending invoices to client and managing the customer payments
• Manage sales tax record as well as creating and filing monthly/quarterly payments via Avalara
• Assist in year-end financial and tax audit
