We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our growing HR Team!

What you’ll do

The Human Resource Generalist here at A2 Hosting will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Who you’ll work with 

Our Human Resources team is the backbone of our company. As the Human Resource Generalist at A2 Hosting, you will work with a team of passionate HR professionals who are lifelong learners that seek new ways to solve old problems. 

 

Who you are 

  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
  • Handle administrative and operational Human Resource requirements for various Business Units.
  • Processes bi-weekly multi-state payroll
  • Assists HR Manager with employee relations issues
  • Oversees all Leave of Absences (LOA), Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Short Term Disability (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD)
  • Performs benefits administration, including change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Manages onboarding process for all incoming team members
  • Work with management to continue to build an outstanding culture in the workplace.
  • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; audits as necessary.
  • Maintains employee personnel files.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Assists Recruiter with recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; 
  • Assist in planning employee events to include (but not limited to) holiday parties and Summer BBQ.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills you have 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years relevant, progressive experience in HR Generalist roles, with proven experience in supporting Human Resources in a growing company
  • Experience in a remote work environment is very strongly preferred
  • Experience in a Hosting or similar Technology company strongly preferred
  • Must be computer literate with demonstrated proficiency in G Suite and MS Office;
  • Experience with Paylocity a HUGE plus
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to promote constructive relationships with communication and collaboration at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills – ability to work independently and with remote employees
  • Demonstrated initiative, judgment, and maturity; will handle confidential information with the utmost discretion, respect, and care
