Job Summary
As part of the digital development team, this role will you will collaborate directly with the product team and technical team to understand scope, requirements, technical constraints, as well as customer, needs to produce new features and improve upon existing experiences. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring latitude for independent action. You will need to produce wireframes, interaction design, that are ready for developers to implement.
Core Job Responsibilities
Works with colleagues to build, develop, and deploy custom website functionality as needed. Works closely with the developer team to ensure that projects are delivered correctly and on time.
Translate concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for the product.
Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices.
Document solutions with concise and clear explanations
Nimble troubleshooting of issues
Solutions Consulting: Participate as a technical consultant on a variety of web-related projects
Knowledge & Skills
Expert in use of one or more of these design tools: figma, adobe xd, or sketch
Knowledgeable in web technologies including HTML, CSS, SCSS, Javascript
Preferred exposure to React and component-based front end development
Experience with responsive web design and development
Great eye for design
Education & Experience
1 - 2 years experience with frontend development
3 to 5 years minimum digital design experience working with related technology in an agile team environment
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
Works in an office environment sitting at a desk, table or computer workstation for extended periods of time. May travel by car, plane or other form of transportation to attend business meetings or conferences. Approximately 50-80 percent of the time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer.
