Working under general supervision, provides analysis to Supply Chain team members which supports the company's global cash-flow optimization initiatives as well as other end to end supply chain improvements.

  • Understands material movement/inventory levels and potential shortages that impact production
  • Analyzes potential impact of forecast and production schedule changes; minimizes Supply Chain scrap expenses 
  • Ensures customer service levels are met
  • Erroneous decisions may cause delays and result in allocation of additional resources

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates and provides data to assist with product line operational decisions to support some or all of the following initiatives.
  • Reduce inventory levels without decreasing customer service levels.
  • Minimize supply chain scrap expenses.
  • Improve asset management.
  • Optimize raw material, sub assembly and/or finished goods flow.
  • Demand & supply forecasts analysis to ensure all relevant business requirements/trends are incorporated and appropriately reflected.
  • Collaborates and provides data to assist with product line operational decisions to support some or all of the following initiatives:.
  • Reduce inventory levels without decreasing customer service levels.
  • Minimize supply chain scrap expenses.
  • Improve asset management.
  • Optimize raw material, sub assembly and/or finished goods flow.
  • Demand & supply forecasts analysis to ensure all relevant business requirements/trends are incorporated and appropriately reflected.
  • Eliminate customer backorders.
  • Extracts data from ERP system to create various excel spreadsheets used to identify inventory management, expired inventory, stock rotation initiatives and other inventory/stocking issues. 
  • Ensures the accuracy and completeness of the information that is entered in the ERP system.
  • Assists with system implementations to improve forecasting and demand requirements planning.
  • Prepares, summarizes and submits data accuracy, delivery performance & other key metrics to assess performance, modify production plans & assess/prioritize focused improvement efforts.
  • Publishes pre-established KPI's as required for all inventory related metrics including: forecast accuracy, DIOH, scrap reporting, line order fill rate, stock levels and PD delivery performance.
  • Analyzes accuracy of product identifiers in reports and systems by planning for new products and obsoleting outdated products.
  • Identifies and participates in process improvement projects that improve customer service levels, improve product flows, minimize supply chain costs and improve asset management.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by monitoring out of balance conditions, short picks, and incomplete transactions and then determining / executing the corrective transactions to correct issues.   
  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. 
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
  • Process expert in the ERP/WMS transactions for receiving, stocking, raw material picking, and sales order fulfillment. 
  • Works as a resource to correct materials process issues on a time sensitive basis to ensure customer commitments are met. 
  • Establishes metrics for inventory accuracy and creates methods to gather and process raw data to produce those metrics.  
  • Uses transnational knowledge and ingenuity to develop process improvements and new business tactics and applies knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/ Warehouse Management System (WMS) to bring those process improvements to fruition.
  • Completes duties within a tightly controlled quality environment that promotes continuous improvement and adherence to published operating procedures.
  • Develops, maintains and controls a realistic master production schedule by balancing marketing requirements with manufacturing capacity and parts availability.
  • Communicates forecast and production schedule changes to Supplier Development Group.
  • Analyzes potential impact of forecast and production schedule changes on component procurement and production volume.
  • Ensures consistency between product sales information and product build schedules.
  • Collaborates with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to appropriately manage inventory levels and minimize obsolescence.
  • Perform "What if" analyses to aid in optimal scheduling, priorities and decision making.
  • Monitors and analyzes supplier performance indicators in order to proactively identify potential supply problems.
  • Communicates all product availability risks as appropriate to effected departments.
  • Liaises with relevant departments to ensures product is available to the customer.
  • Communicates demand changes for the S&OP process.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience with a good understanding of specified functional area as listed below

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience without a Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in supply chain analysis
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
