Americas Shared Services Organization (ASSO) Accounts Payable Technician supports all invoice processing activities and vendor account reconciliations.   Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, assisting our BPO team in resolving invoice related issues, working with Abbott’s internal and external vendors to ensure invoices are paid as scheduled and ad hoc requests. 

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze and distribute credit memo reports from all ERPs
• Extract, correct and distribute KAP reports
• Process domestic, foreign and intercompany invoices
• Prepare and return all invoices that do not meet the criteria for processing
• Process documentation for returns of direct and indirect material
• Interaction with different levels of management
• Daily interaction with BPO team
• Ad Hoc reporting and projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of accounts payable experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Prior experience with payables in SAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Positive attitude and a self-starter with the ability to work independently across various levels of management
• Strong communication skills
