Job Description: This position has full responsibility for the treasury management strategy for
Abbott’s international affiliate operations in the LAC region.  Specific areas of responsibility include:

• Oversee affiliate liquidity and cash management strategy
• Manage affiliate currency risk and build appropriate hedging strategies
• Liaise with headquarter functions to develop affiliate capital structure
• Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline banking framework
• Ensure adequate bank account controls and documentation
• Monitor trade credit risk
• Understand country economic risk and implications to affiliate liquidity and trade credit
• Interact with banking partners and guide bank relationship decisions
• Prepare quarterly forecasts for treasury P&L and balance sheet line items
• Provide subject matter expertise on International Treasury policies and procedures
• Supervise one senior treasury analyst

Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with treasury background and prior international experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management
• Adept at coordinating efforts between multiple headquarter and international teams
• Ability to coach and develop talent
• Self-starter with the ability to lead projects and work independently
• Progressive thinking and a desire to develop operational strategy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree with an emphasis on finance or accounting
