Procedure Support:

  • Full Time ACIS will not be part of a local clinical sales team, however, there may be instances where they will be required to provide solo procedural support for emergent situations
  • Procedure Support will be focused upon
    • Mentoring/Assessing clinical colleagues within the Area
    • Key Strategic Conversions/Troubleshooting (always in conjunction with the local clinical team)
    • Abbott Connect Remote Support/Mentoring

Key Skills and Objectives:

  • Provide senior leadership and oversight over clinical development of all EP & Structural Heart Certified Employees in Sales Area (80-120 employees)
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of Regional ACIS within Sales Area
  • Regular communication through WebEx, E-mail, and/or in-person meetings
  • Establish framework for consistent education of new hires through partnership with EP & Structural Heart Education
  • Primary Field Mentor selection and validation
  • Tracking of new hire/EP and Structural Heart Associate registration and training
  • Account and Sales Strategy Analysis
  • Work with Area Sales Leadership to facilitate strategy EP/SHD Sales Analysis including EP/SHD Capital Opportunity, EP/SHD Disposable Sales optimization, and maximizing revenue opportunity
  • Utilize Salesforce sales and procedure data to provide key metrics for sales teams
  • Collaborate with Research and Development/Product Marketing/Education Teams
  • Provide conduit for customer and field feedback to Product Development Teams pre and post-launch
  • Participate in testing/validation/development activities when invited by R&D Teams
  • Collect and maintain ‘stellar’ ICE, TEE, Transthoracic and Vascular images to build an image library that can be used for marketing presentations and education material

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field or equivalent healthcare experience required.  Requires ability to become certified on SJMSC EP products.. A minimum of seven plus years in a clinical role and/or increasingly responsible experience in the cardiac pacing and related industries.  Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures.  Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems is necessary.  Must apply engineering skills and abilities to interpret and solve complex clinical problems.  Must have comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Must have the ability to concentrate on detail and work independently.  Must be able to work effectively with engineers, technical specialists, vendors, and customers to achieve assigned goals; must be capable of coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively. Must possess comprehensive personal computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office or equivalent required) in graphics, word-processing, databases, authoring programs, etc., to develop presentation materials.
