Primary Job Function

Responsible for leading project managers and teams in developing and executing the overall cloud program plan.   

Core Job Responsibilities

• Leverages Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) where appropriate to drive flexibility
• Works with Strategic Business and Executive IT management to establish project goals
• Measure performance to assure the program is progressing as compared to original plan.
• Leads project managers and teams in developing and executing a program plan.
• Gathers lessons learned for each initiative to drive continuous improvement across the program.
• Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate status
• Coordinate resources to ensure program and business needs are addressed through proactive priority management with business leaders
• Responsible for compliance to applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

Position Accountability/Scope

• This position reports directly to the Director of Hosting in BTS.
• Manages the Cloud Program for the enterprise
• Directly impacts the operation and profitability of every division through their reliance on the cloud infrastructure to host Abbott’s Enterprise and Business critical applications globally.

Minimum Experience/Training Required

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a technology or management discipline
• 12+ years of overall IT experience
• Experience with public and private cloud programs
• Experience leading large scale programs and agile teams
