PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Increase the sales and profits of ADC via the Professional Medical Representative sales force by creating demand for ADC products. Establish and lead a team of high performing representatives that can execute and achieves our sales plan and goals. Provide clear direction and feedback of results achieved. Work closely with the marketing teams and other sales channels to develop synergistic sales plans. Ensure that all activities fall within the corporate compliance guidelines, and that representatives operate in a legal and ethical manner. Complete each year under expense plan.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Increase the sales and profits of the Healthcare Professional sales team through the management of sales activities of representatives. Lead, teach, coach and develop subordinates to exceed sales goals. Provide strategic and tactical feedback to marketing. Implement the divisional sales and marketing programs. Implement the appropriate control measures for monitoring representative activity. Monitor performance and adjust resources as needed. Ensure that all activities fall within the corporate compliance guidelines. Ensure that each representative is properly trained. Utilize the appropriate reports for call tracking, territory analysis, and sample accountability. Routinely work with representatives in the field to coach and assess their skills. Accountable for retail and managed care accounts within the defined district.

Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management

 MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelors degree. Our customer base is made up of people with a minimum of a four year degree and most have advanced degrees such as M.D.,PH.D., Masters, MTASCP, Etc..
 

MINIMUM TRAINING & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum 2-4 years of selling experience with at least 1 cross training role. Marketing experience is highly desirable. Previous management experience is desirable. Has demonstrated coaching, leadership, and planning skills. Can communicate effectively verbally and in writing. An understanding of who our customers are.

 


 

ACCOUNTABILITY / SCOPE/BUDGET:

Responsible for ensuring that ADC sales goals and objectives are met while optimizing the use of resources. Accountable for the adherence to corporate ethical and compliance guidelines for their District. Writing and administering development plans and performance reviews of each direct report. Complete each year under the planned expense budget. Comments: The traditional District Manager job requires the managing of grade 14,15, 16 level sales reps.
