For Planning department: ·
Facilitate Business Unit S&OP processes for business unit or entire site, provide direction to demand, supply, NPI, financial integration steps.
· Lead cross-site coordination on supply planning for products shared with other sites Establish and continuously improve planning & scheduling business processes
· Manage planning of all new product launches and planning of product transfers to/from other manufacturing sites
· Maintain relationships, and benchmark with sister sites to continually look for improvement opportunities for planning.
· Lead effort and provide directions on achieving high product availability while minimizing finished goods inventory level.
For Purchasing:
· Manage direct and indirect materials for manufacturing activities, as well as materials for packaging/labeling activities.
· Establish and continuously improve purchasing processes · Ensure purchasing and financial compliance with all inventory and non inventory spend for the site
· Manage relationships with suppliers, build stronger relationships with high performance suppliers and mitigate risks with poor performing suppliers
· Lead effort and provide directions on achieving high material availability while minimizing raw materials inventory level
· Participate in purchasing efforts led by corporate purchasing
· Achieving cost improvement goals related to raw materials while minimizing inventory cost such as excess & obsolete For Material Handling: · Manage raw material and expensed item inventory for AV manufacturing sites, as well as packaging/labeling activities
· Establish and continuously improve material handling and warehouse management processes
· Lead effort with Operations in ensuring high inventory accuracy in production-side inventory locations
- Minimize inventory level in non-warehouse locations next to production areas
For Planning:
· Establish vision, strategy, and metrics for Planning department.
· Lead effort with Operations to ensure 98.1% product availability for all products manufactured.
· Lead effort in setting inventory target and optimizing inventory level at distribution centers.
· Lead effort in achieving site-wide planning/manufacturing goals for adherence to supply plans, production schedules, and manufacturing turn-around time.
· Establish process to monitor and prioritize lots throughout the supply chain, coordinating efforts to prioritize production and supply chain activities For Purchasing:
· Establish vision, strategy, and metrics for Purchasing department.
· Manage raw material spend.
· Manage expense purchase spend.
· Manage raw material inventory.
· Manage E&O budget.
· Establish and achieve Purchase Price Variance, Cost Improvement Project goals in alignment with AV Operations Strategy For Material Handling:
· Establish vision, strategy, and metrics for Material Handling department.
· Manage warehouses and stores areas in multiple manufacturing/packaging locations.
· Manage raw materials.
· Manage raw material inventory.
· Monitors processes for opportunities to improve safety and efficiency.
· Establish and continuously improve cycle-counting processes that ensure inventory accuracy and are in accordance to corporate requirements.
· Responsible for customer service level of 98% for all AV products
· Responsible for raw material spend and negotiation
· Exempt employees and non exempt employees
· Manages site S&OP planning.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree and 7-9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. A good understanding of specified functional area.
