We are seeking a digital marketing professional to support the management and execution of our marketing initiatives to drive awareness and engagement of both healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients across our integrated digital marketing channel landscape.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will partner with the Global Chronic Pain Therapies and Movement Disorders marketing team to coordinate, execute and measure revenue-and awareness-generating campaigns that deliver to our goals. The ideal candidate should have excellent time management and communication skills to collaborate effectively. In addition, they should be a passionate, agile, digital marketing enthusiast with lots of cross-functional capability and curiosity and a passion to deliver engaging, measurable digital marketing solutions.

Main Responsibilities

Execute all digital marketing strategies, including website, social media, SEO/SEM, paid advertising, email marketing, and display advertising campaigns

Website:

  • Ensure all websites content is current and user friendly for external audiences
  • Update website copy and featured content
  • Website user experience and functionality testing

Social Media:

  • Support the division’s social media presence, recommend strategy and lead execution on social media platforms, including: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and other channels to be determined
  • Create and execute social media content calendar

Email Marketing:

  • Timely development and distribution of regularly scheduled and ad hoc promotional emails to opt-in communities, recommend strategies to expand the size and level of engagement for opt-in mail lists
  • Write, build and deploy email campaigns

Event Promotion & Partnerships:

  • Drive related digital promotional activities for events and/or partnerships. This includes leveraging web, social and ad channels with localized and global content to promote the events and/or speakers therein or partners

Reporting & Accountability:

  • Report on key metrics associated with their work areas on a scheduled basis
  • Establish KPIs, benchmarks and reports for all digital marketing efforts
  • Utilize Google Analytics to track and provide insights on website user behavior
  • Track email and social engagement, provide recommendations to improve performance
  • Provide monthly reports on analytics
  • Manage digital campaign timelines and budgets, as well as coordination of the production of any required campaign assets
  • Constantly improve personal knowledge of digital marketing practices
  • Provide comprehensive analysis, insights, and recommendations for improvement by leveraging analytics data that identifies key areas that help increase traffic, ROI, and overall performance of marketing campaigns

Special Projects:

  • Will be asked to contribute to and support additional strategic marketing initiatives as they emerge.

Other:

  • Maintains understanding of neuromodulation technology in a competitive environment
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. 
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field is required
  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience, including hands-on experience executing social media, website and email marketing campaigns
  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager and preferably have knowledge of Sitecore.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce CRM
  • Experience working with Google AdWords and Google Analytics
  • Experience working with Facebook Advertising
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and related web tools
  • Experience working with a broad range of additional platforms is strongly desired
  • Fluent in web, social and advertising metrics
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Working knowledge of web design principles and best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
