Primary Function

Accelerate adoption and utilization of OCT through adoption playbook execution, education delivery and coordination and case support in targeted accounts (4 to 6 annually)

Main Responsibilities

  • ·Faithful execution of the adoption playbook
  • ·Provide expert level clinical case guidance
  • ·Coach and train physician and clinical staff to self-sufficiency
  • ·Deliver or coordinate educational programs
  • ·Effectively manage the adoption engagement
  • ·Actively engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions, linking data outcomes to key messaging.  Comprehend and clearly articulate intravascular imaging clinical benefits both in and beyond the cardiac catheterization lab
  • Serve as primary resource for clinical guidance, and in-service education for OCT
  • Diagnose, validate and overcome adoption barrier during engagements
  • Capture and leverage intra-procedural data to demonstrate OCT clinical benefits, adoption and self- sufficiency progress. 
  • Collaborate with local, regional and national teams to develop and share best practices
  • Understand account and physician goals and align the Imaging Program Partnership engagement with those goals
  • Understand competitive products/share within each account to achieve utilization goals
  • Serve as an advisory role for marketing and training on intravascular imaging projects
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the local team to effectively transition each account post engagement  
  • Maintain current and evolving education in clinical applications utilized within OCT

Accountability / Scope / Budget

  • Work is performed autonomously with direction from Regional Imaging Program Manager and/or PCI Optimization leadership.
  • Interacting with key stakeholders and opinion leaders throughout target accounts
  • Work closely with Area VP, Regional Sales Directors and Therapy Managers to consistently achieve utilization plans in targeted accounts

Qualifications

Minimum Education relevant technical certification or AA degree

BS degree strongly preferred 

Experience/Training:

Minimum of 5 years of Cath lab/related/Imaging experience required

Preferred 10+ years of Cath lab/related/Imaging experience

Demonstrated competency in clinical acumen and ability to sell multiple products to end users.

Comprehensive knowledge of disease states, competitive landscape and anatomy.

Proven project management experience

Proven experience with driving clinical adoption of OCT or new products
