Main Purpose of the role:

Withing with a manufacturing facility to execute the day-to-day activities related to receiving, verifying, reconciling, and monitoring product inventory accuracy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records, manage stored information, and respond to inquiries.
• Manage inventory system activities for Material Control involving electronic receipt of bulk commodities, maintaining release of items not flowing between transactions, discrepancies to other systems, and transactions for disposal of commodities. 
• Manage export of data for weekly cycle count schedule, complete physical verification, update inventory systems as part of reconciliation process, and ensure compliance to internal and external auditor requirements. 
• Assist with Expiration cycle counts and engage associated departments through execution of the First Expired First Out (FEFO) Process
• Notify planners of inventory concerns that would cause material shortages
• Lead scanning accuracy program through daily physical verification and metric reporting 
• Participate in weekly batch closing activities
• Serve as department backup for activities such as completing the weekly commodity expiration report
• Reconcile weekly and monthly adjustment summary report to department and plant finance

Preferred Experience:

Minimum 1 year experience with documentation management and organization of data, problem solving, Microsoft suite competencies, communication skills, understanding of process flows, anticipation.

Minimum 1 year experience within a manufacturing facility or raw material warehouse

Education
High School Diploma / GED Required    
Associate’s / Bachelor’s Degree preferred: Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
