Position Summary:
The Abbott Molecular division is seeking a Manager Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. The position supports the Abbott Molecular Commercial Organization and is ideal for someone seeking strategic finance experience supporting the commercial organization. Primary Responsibilities:
The Manager Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis is a key business partner to the Commercial organization, providing strategic FP&A support and enabling value-added, data-driven analysis to support timely business decisions. The role leads strategic initiatives and analytics for AMD organization, and is responsible for preparation of business case financials for go no-go portfolio decisions and other strategic investments. The role is vital in supporting the Division and Commercial Controllers in strategic commercial activities, including advising on strategic projects, partnering with the business and division headquarters finance in preparing well supported LBE review materials for commercial organization, global sales and margin analytics, and various ad-hoc projects. The individual in this role will own the orchestration of the annual organic execution model working in close collaboration with key functional stakeholders, execution and organization of complex analytics, ensuring timely review and approval of business assumptions with key constituents. This role will be responsible for leading consistency of global commercial deal model ensuring its timely updates, consistency of profitability metrics across regions, and advising on overall deal strategy and pro-forma income statement analysis for potential deals. In addition, this role will play an important role in developing value-added analytics and KPIs to continue to drive the commercial business forward over the short term and long-term. The person in this role will also have supervisory responsibility in overseeing support for the Global Services, Global Marketing, and Global Commercial Excellence functions and will manage 1 direct report.
