Job Summary:

This entry level position will be responsible for entering and validating payroll information, creating and maintaining payroll files and time record batches, researching and resolving timecard questions, and participating in special projects.

Essential Functions:

• Provide customer service by helping employees and managers with questions via email and phone
• Create new hire folders
• File paperwork into employee files
• Distribute checks and reports to divisional contacts
• Work with HR Representatives to resolve employee issues
• Participate in special projects

Other Duties:  

• Research and resolve employee related questions/issues
• Comply with company policies as well and state/ federal, DOL & SOX regulations

Qualifications: 

• 1+ years business experience, preferably in a payroll function
• 2 year degree is business, accounting or related field
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers
