We are seeking a high caliber and ambitious Project Manager to join our team in Los Angeles. The position will own all supply chain aspects of planning, new product introductions, material cost reduction projects and supply risk mitigation programs. Opportunity for key talent to consider this role to learn the business and develop towards future Supply Chain Leadership roles in the business. This role will have solid visibility to Senior Management and expectations will be high.

• Understands the project roadmap and track state of readiness for the supply chain organization by working with appropriate staff to understand scope of effort. Will work very closely with the Planning and Procurement teams in addition to cross-functional R&D, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Prepares project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete projects.
• Directs project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.
• Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports, and by participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings.
• Resolves project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate. Participates in the development of less experienced staff by setting an example, providing guidance and work direction, and offering counsel.

Your experience(s), education and knowledge ​

• Bachelors Degree Business Administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum 7 years progressively more responsible materials work experience or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years demonstrated experience at a supervisory/managerial level.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
• Ability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally
