Position Summary
Execute regional PCI strategy to optimize therapy development by key accounts for the US. This role leads a team to ensure the region meets or exceeds market penetration goals, sales and profitability objectives. Further it, formulates and executes sales strategies in order to attain set revenue goals. Leads a team of PCI Specialists to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential to establish and achieve set annual sales objectives in the region. Manages and coaches the activities of sales representatives, clinical representatives, and other field personnel. Also reporting to the Coronary AVPs, this role negotiates regional contracts with external customers, is accountable as the source of regional knowledge for market dynamics and competitive activity. Negotiates contracts with external customers. Keeps the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity. Responsible for the management and implementation of company policies.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Recruits, coaches, measures and develops organizational talent.; deploys regional talent based on potential account value Executes regional therapy development through education & hands-on support and coaching Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. Creates an entrepreneurial environment, dotted reporting to AVPs and working with RSDs within region and drives best practices for growth. Keeps AVs and the PCIO vision and values at the forefront of decision making and planned actions. Demonstrates effective regional leadership in needs assessment, driving change and results for this specific focus therapy area. Builds strategic partnerships regionally across all facets of the organization to optimize and grow AVs market share and drive therapy growth. Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.). Makes decisions regarding regional work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives. Develops, monitors and appropriately adjusts the regional annual budget.
Supervisory / Management Responsibilities
Work is performed autonomously with direction from VP, PCI Optimization leadership. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long- term perspective, for desired results.
Provides direction and guidance to exempt specialists who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments; evaluates performance of and assists in career development planning for subordinates; often responsible for a centralized staff or professional function of the company.

Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for operating goals that are in alignment with the division.
Provides regional leadership to assigned staff by communicating and providing guidance towards achieving department objectives.
Creates immediate to long-range plans to carry out regional objectives established by top management; develops and calculates a budget for a department or group to meet organizational goals; forecasts future departmental needs including human and material resources and capital expenditures; recommends or modifies the structure of organizational units or a centralized functional activity subject to senior management approval.
Assignments are expressed in the form of objectives; makes decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve the regional program objectives established by senior management; consequences of erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally include critical delays and modifications to projects or operations with substantial expenditure of time, human resources, and funds, and may jeopardize future business activity.
Qualifications:
Prior experience, knowledge of medical devices preferred. Provides direction and monitors progress of exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff toward departmental goals; monitors costs of projects and of human and material resources within a department or unit; monitors company-wide indicators such as market share and profitability; monitors external environment in area of technical or professional responsibility. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
