The Inside Sales Rep role is an internal sales opportunity in Abbott’s Chronic Pain Division.  The RFA Inside Sales Rep will work closely with Sales Leadership and Territory Managers to achieve sales quota.  This role will focus on developing new sales opportunities and driving additional revenue in existing accounts.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities
  • Responsible for upselling existing RF customers
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding quarterly quotas and objectives.
  • Assist Marketing and Sales in implementing sales strategies and promotions to grow RF business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of Radiofrequency therapies and the competitive environment.
  • Follow up with RF accounts to ensure products fit customer’s needs
  • Provide sales support by answering and/or resolving customer questions and/or issues on assigned products via telephone, e-mail, and in-person
  • Streamline quoting and contract development process
  • Coordinate with the Contracts, Supply Chain, and Customer Care to effectively allocate products to customers
  • Perform required administrative sales duties, e.g., filing expense account reports, scheduling appointments, and making travel plans.
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify the best targets.
  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Interact with customers and assigned institutions, physicians and technicians, customer purchasing and administration.
  • Interact with field based sales team
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned



  • BA in Marketing, Business, or healthcare related field
  • 0-3 years in marketing, sales, or related position
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to generate and explain detailed proposals, guidelines, and procedures
  • Well organized, capable of handling multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage appropriate stakeholders to accomplish projects and meet quotas.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels in an organization.
  • Able to effectively multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, dependent on territory geography.
