Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:

The sales leader is responsible for the growth and management of sales within a given area.  The sales leader will also manage a team of sales representatives to ensure they have the resources, tools and sound strategies to meet sales and share/growth, while utilizing budgeted funds and promoting corporate policies and objectives.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Train, guide, develop and support the team as needed to ensure they have the strategy to grow their business
  • Human Resources management functions (ie:  performance evaluations, coaching, writing performance appraisals,  etc.)
  • Performing recruitment and selection duties such as sourcing, interviewing and maintaining a diverse candidate pool, participating in job fairs, maintaining a file of qualified candidates in the event of turnover.
  • Driving the business through administrative tasks, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent  years of experience)
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years sales leadership experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Flexible and ability to adapt to different situations
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Decisive, strong business acumen and people management skills
