Main Purpose:
We have an exciting opportunity for Strategic Marketing Product Manager whose key objective is the development of marketing and sales strategies for the US acquisition, government, and GPO channels as well as focusing on the creation, launching, and execution of the consultative workshop program to drive business success. This role will support the Abbott Core Lab Diagnostics business and a strong candidate will have sales/marketing experience in the diagnostics industry with a deep understanding of the complexities of the diagnostics market and customer needs.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop marketing strategies and tactical recommendations that drive achievement of sales and margin goals.
Create customer-centric content that clearly articulates the value proposition and enables the sales force to differentiate us from competitors to win business deals.
Manage relationships with creative agencies to plan, develop, and execute new materials.
Launch programs that support the strategy and train the sales force to educate them on how to utilize.
Partner with the sales force to drive results and hold accountable for utilization of materials.
Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships with the ability to effectively influence and gain support.
Serve as the marketing voice during sales presentations of key initiatives to key customers.
Partner with customer teams with promotional development and communication of launch strategy.
Provide input into sales force detail plans, including volume forecasts for new items, promotions, and total business.
Coordinate sales launch meetings for brand planning / new item launches.
Analyze needs; use a wide application of principles, theories, concepts, and draw on previous experience to determine a course of action.
Develop solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
Execute highly complex or specialized projects.

Financial, Marketing Plan Development, Creation of Marketing Strategy, Execution of Tactics, Pricing, Business Development, Financial, and Pricing.
Expertise including branding, market share, customer needs and targeting, product/solution performance/benefits/weaknesses / positioning.
Qualifications:
This position is located in Lake Forest, IL and requires travel up to 35%.
