Our location in Temecula, CA, currently has an opportunity for a SUPPLY PLANNER
Provides support to the manufacturing organization by developing new processes and optimizing existing processes. Utilizes six sigma, lean, design control, and validation principles to create robust processes. This role requires completion of steps from process conception, design, validation, and implementation to manufacturing. Interfaces with Manufacturing, Quality and Research and Development organizations to integrate new processes into the existing manufacturing areas.
The Supply Planning Department is responsible for developing and executing supply plans to ensure highest level of internal and external customer service with the least cost to the operation. The department is responsible for controlling the flow of communication and supply schedules to support delivery of inventory by manufacturing sources in time to support US sales and to meet outbound shipping schedules for international shipments.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Youwil responsible for translating demand and inventory strategies/targets into effective supply plans. He or she will manage production plans that span multiple plants. Incumbent will be required to coordinate with Franchise management, Manufacturing Operations and other planners to resolve plant scheduling conflicts and capacity constraints. Important strategic and tactical issues will require elevation to S&OP and the Intermediate SUPPLY PLANNER will be responsible to put scenarios together and present these to management.
You will be responsible for review and analysis of distribution center and manufacturing inventories to ensure optimization as well as support the division inventory objectives. He or she will be responsible for a set of Key Performance Indicators and root cause analysis is expected if the result deviates from the agreed upon goal.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience could be from Materials Management, Manufacturing, Planning, or combined experience. APICS certification preferred.

Uses in-depth knowledge of business unit functions and cross group dependencies/ relationships. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
