Job Description

Summary

Sundyne designs and manufactures reliable industrial pumps and compressors serving customers in over 100 countries worldwide. Sundyne products are custom manufactured to meet site specific customer driven requirements around American Petroleum Institute (API) specifications and ISO standards. The Sundyne family of pumps and centrifugal integrally geared compressors are capable of multi-stages, are frequently skid mounted and are used in numerous industries worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage collection efforts for all Domestic Customers and International as knowledge/experience develops
• Manage process for forecasting Cash Collections
• Understand and be accountable for metrics such as DSO, % Past Due, Pareto for customer disputes and invoice corrections, etc.
• Prepare A/R Related Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations in accordance with Sundyne policy
• Manage customer relations and have ability to problem solve and be proactive
• Develop and maintain process for review of customer's credit worthiness
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with varying levels of management and with internal and external 'customers' in a professional manner
• Partner with the business on assessing new customers in the quote phase
• Review contracts for setting payment terms and deciding acceptable invoice requirements for all domestic orders
• Partner with Corporate Treasury and Customer on assessing and negotiating Letter of Credit Language
• Manage Milestones with Project Managers to ensure proper accounting and recognition in the balance sheet
• Process Invoices daily, as needed
• Excellent communications skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Able to identify problems as they occur and take appropriate actions to solve the issue

Qualifications

• This position requires business acumen and includes more than just collections/billing, but also credit checks and metrics.  Experience with progress and prepayment billing – credit worthy analysis preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, business degree is a plus
• HS Diploma or GED required
• At least 2-4 years of experience, with specific focus in accounts receivable functions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• ERP system experience (JDE, SAP, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive, self-starter and continuous improvement mindset
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
