JOB SUMMARY:
The Austin Habitat for Humanity Construction Warehouse Manager contributes to our mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope by managing the 95,000 square foot warehouse facility including fixed assets and leaseholder improvements, tools and materials inventory and pre-fabrication of residential housing components.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ordering and receiving of goods and materials
- Pre-fabrication of structural building components
- Organizing and inventory maintenance
- Fleet maintenance and record keeping
- Overall accountability of warehouse operations
- Track and manage tool inventory including purchasing and repairs
- Utilizing volunteers on occasion
MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Safe operation of construction tools; up to and including machinery
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work with economically and culturally diverse populations
- Reliable transportation to job sites in various locations throughout the Austin Habitat for Humanity service area and a valid Texas Drivers License and up-to-date automobile liability insurance
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Multi-year experience working in a large team environment
- Five years general construction or warehousing experience
- Minimum two-year experience scheduling projects and teams
- Previous purchasing/procurement experience
- Ability to work occasional weekend day when needed
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Forklift Operation
- High work ethic and willingness to work until job is done
- Hands-on, flexible and detail oriented
- Familiarity with ProCore and Smartsheet a plus
- Working knowledge of building trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and how each impacts the others)
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Previous team management
- Three years Lead Construction or Lead Warehousing experience
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
COMPENSATION:
- $70,000 annually commensurate with experience and qualifications
