As a team member of the ReStore, you will make sure donors have a positive experience. In this role, you'll provide incredible customer service by engaging customers in friendly conversation, and you'll educate our customers and donors about how their purchases contribute to our mission. You'll leave a lasting impression and transform first-time shoppers into loyal ReStore customers.

As Driver, no two days are ever the same! Typical a day will include the following responsibilities:

• Creates a welcoming atmosphere by greeting donors and safely unloading donations from vehicles
• Develop relationships with customers, vendors, builders, and community to increase donations
• Provides volunteers with meaningful experience
• Follow all safety rules when loading and unloading donated items at both the ReStore and a donor’s home
• Ensure all donations are wrapped and protected for loading and unloading
• Assist ReStore when needed and
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of truck and dock
• Professional handling of donations to not damage donor’s property
• Performs all other duties as assigned based on business needs

• Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• A minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred 
• Required to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and will experience frequent bending, squatting, lifting and repetitive motion. This position will most likely be exposed to extremes in weather (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.).
• Flexible availability (e.g., some weekends and holidays) and regular attendance is necessary
