Position Summary
Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the residents, interns, and medical students. Assures that all AOA requirements are met for the above.
Essential Functions
Coordinates and schedules lectures, orientation, and evaluations for all residents, interns, and medical students.
Maintains records of all financial activities for the Medical Education Department. Generates billing and records reimbursement for all Medical Education. Ensures that all requirements of the AOA regulations are met.
Provides clerical support for the Director of Medical Education and Residency Grant. Records and transcribes minutes for the Family Practice Residency Meetings. Creates PowerPoint presentations for the house staff.
Maintains all records and documentation for the residents, interns, and medical students.
Organizes all lectures, dinners, banquets, and retreats for the Residency and Medical Education Departments.
Orders office supplies and equipment as needed.
Agrees to comply with the Corporate Compliance Policy and all laws, rules, regulations, and standards of conduct relating to the position and has a duty to report any suspected violations of the law or the standards of conduct to his or her immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Computer and word processing skills. Ability to act independently. Associate’s Degree or equivalent in related business/secretarial medical field preferred.
