Our Corporate Sales & Marketing department is looking for an experienced Sales professional to join their team! We are in need of a "Task Force" Sales Manager who will be assigned to fill an opening at one of Commonwealth Hotels managed properties during times of approved leaves or vacancies.
This person will be assigned to a hotel and work out of that property for up to a 30-day increment and out of the corporate office in Covington, KY. The Corporate task force position with Commonwealth Hotels has a varied and unpredictable schedule.
While the intent of this position is to generally be deployed full-time to a host hotel, in the event this is not possible, this person may be expected to work on corporate projects and initiatives.
These projects will be discussed with and assigned to each task force associate as appropriate by the Vice President of Revenue.

THE POSITION
The "Task Force" Sales Manager in conjunction with the General Manager has direct oversight of the Sales and Marketing operation of the hotel. The "Task Force" Sales Manager has direct and indirect responsibility as it relates to the Sales and Marketing Budget/P&L, revenue forecasting, advertising, marketing, developing and writing business plans, and ownership meetings. Must be proficient in general computer knowledge and able to train and monitor both the group and transient contractual agreement process, quoting rates, sending referrals, setting traces, and the management of retention, reactivation, and acquisition accounts. The "Task Force" Sales Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Revenue. Communication and organizational skills are of the utmost importance.
