We’re looking for an Aeronautical Data Librarian to collect, input and configure aeronautical data from worldwide data and imagery sources. The Aeronautical Data Librarian is responsible for processing aeronautical source publications from all over the world which will be input into our navigation databases. The Aeronautical Data Librarian will be responsible for researching and downloading aeronautical source, configuring data, tools, documents, updating company manuals, and maintaining a physical and digital AIP Library. The Aeronautical Data Librarian works with customers such as the FAA, the Department of Defense, and foreign entities to produce quality aeronautical products that will be utilized by the aviation community in public and private airspace.
Qualified candidates possess an Associates Degree OR equivalent experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description, Bachelor degree preferred.
Other required skills include:
• Minimum of 1-year industry experience in a professional sector
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheet programs and other relevant software
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and collaboration skills
• Experienced in prioritizing, and gathering and monitoring information
Desirable skills:
• Administrative assistant experience
