What does a Associate HR Business Partner Analyst do at companies like INFOBLOX?

Infoblox is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner Analyst to provide tactical support to the HR Business Partner team and support HR initiatives.  In this role, you will be responsible for supporting senior HRBP's in translating business objectives into practical and reasonable organizational solutions and outcomes, to assist in the alignment of the organization towards the business' strategy plan, to ensure the right talent with the right skills are in place at the right time, and to continuously ensure that the level of resources within business groups are aligned appropriately to meet ever-changing business needs.

 Responsibilities:

Tactical HR Support

  • Provide support to the HR Business Partners surrounding a variety of projects and day to day tasks
  • Project manage the design, implementation, and administration of HR initiatives from start to finish, including owning one or more of the project's tasks
  • Support and conduct manager roll out of HR solutions
  • Partner with HR teams to consult and assist the business in the creation of reports, manage programs and initiatives
  • Partner with managers and employees to fulfill data requests
  • Develop tools and reports in collaboration with the HRIS team, as well as other HR teams
  • Work with P&P stakeholders to provide analysis of data pulled from multiple systems for the purposes of trending, internal equity analysis, administrative organizational breakouts by functional groups, and data gathering for information
  • Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., performance reviews, merit, workforce planning, and organizational changes
  • Work with P&P stakeholders to create reports and provide HR data to HRBP and managers and support implementation of initiatives
  • Assist in the development of employee programs/plans

 Business Partner Support

  • Develop a good working relationship with the managers and employees
  • Support HRBP initiatives through partnering with senior business partners
  • Partner with other HR professionals to facilitate organizational development initiatives, programs, and processes to support business objectives and strategy implementation
  • Support the HRBP's on the roll-out and implementation of approved annual HR projects
  • Partner with the HRBP team to understand and provide recommendations to performance issues and drivers for people and organizational strategies
  • Oversee and create employee letters and communications within relevant deadlines
  • Guide and support managers and employees on HR processes and policies
  • Provide support in a variety of Human Resources activities as needed. For example, performance management, interviewing, termination processing, exit interviews, and culture events
  • Support the organization in employee relation matters under the guidance of the HRBP's
  • Collaborate and work closely with the People and Places team to identify trends affecting the business and develop plans to address them; including assisting with facilities support and coordination of employee events
  • Serve as back up for other People and Places team members, as needed

 Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of HR Generalist experience required, preferably including some HR management level experience working with senior leaders of an organization
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft apps 
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Must possess sound judgment and strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with business group leadership 
  • Must possess the ability to manage complex organizational issues and competing priorities effectively
  • Possess courage; proactive in effectively introducing alternative perspectives
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Demonstrated collaboration, team building, and influencing skills
  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and to work independently in day-to-day situations

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Ability to operate in a positive, helpful, and proactive manner
  • Viewed as credible with demonstrated ability to inspire trust throughout the organization
  • Experience with working with virtual teams
  • Solid understanding of Google Sheets
  • Experience with HRIS applications, preferably Workday
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (utilizing advanced features such as vLookups and Pivot Tables) with the ability to produce graphic representations of analytical data for presentations

Education:

  • Bachelors and/ or Master's Degree in Business Administration / Human Resources strongly preferred
  • SPHR or PHR certification highly desirable
