The Role:

As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for technical interactions and success with Oden’s clients. The Technical Account Manager will work with the client Manufacturing Operations and IT departments in communicating the project specifications to complete a successful deployment of Oden’s technology and the recommended network infrastructure. The role will manage the client’s technical experience with oden from initial engagement through to successful delivery of Oden’s platform, and will manage the timely resolution of any technical client issues thereafter. 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary point of contact to Oden’s clients, in particular their IT and Operations personnel, for all technical setup, inquiries, and issues
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process by enabling client IT and Manufacturing Operations teams with technical know-how and support towards installation
  • Field all client support tickets and lead the primary investigation of all issues pertaining to the client’s factory network, client connections to Oden’s platform, and platform availability
  • Collaborate with Engineering to diagnose and improve Oden’s factory technology
  • Act as liaison between customers Information Technology (IT) department and Manufacturing/Operations Technology (OT) departments.  Accurately articulate the requirements and priorities of both IT and OT stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related technology driven degree.
  • Experience in PLC, Networking and SCADA design/programming including data extraction and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with a variety of networking and / or security concepts, practices, and procedures, to include manufacturing and enterprise network convergence, network protocols, communication optimization, application effects on system performance and human exploitation techniques on the manufacturing network.
  • Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations
  • Exposure to Industrial Control Systems including PLC, HMI/SCADA, plant historian, motor control, motion control, etc. technology and applications
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm about technology
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Organized, independent worker

Nice to Have:

  • Network Engineering Certification (CCENT, CCNA Routing and Switching/Wireless, CINS Cisco Industrial Networking Specialist, VCA, VCP, GICSP)
  • Understanding of CPwE DIG (Converged Plantwide Ethernet Design and Implementation Guide)
  • Understanding of ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NEC and NIST standards
  • Experience translating business problems into technical solutions
