The Product Manager combines product planning, design and market evaluation to manage the entire lifecycle of a product portfolio. Responsible for gathering customer requirements, defining their vision and overseeing product strategy, marketing and continued customer use data. Partners with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders for portfolio management, future-thinking product planning, and development.
This is a full-time REMOTE (work-from-home) position. Occasional travel to the ONS Headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA throughout the year will be required.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the ONS product strategy and roadmap
Incorporates data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategy.
Lead the development and delivery of PRDs with detailed strategy, positioning, use cases, prioritized features, and ROI. Analyzes markets related to cancer care and oncology nursing to inform product goals and planning
Maintains partnerships with ONS teams and other stakeholders for successful product lifecycles
Develops and monitors key performance indicators with ONS’s product team and data analysis
Provide recommendations and develop plans for end-of-life, in-market product adjustments
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
Generates plans, leads, and structures for future-thinking innovative products employing a variety of internal and external inputs (e.g. market research, customer feedback, sales, product evaluations)
Leadership: Manager – Individual Contributor
Contributes to annual budgeting process and corresponding business cases to ensure utilization meets strategic, operational, and budgetary goals
Facilitates product development, departmental operations and/or organization-wide functions in support of organizational priorities
Demonstrates capacity to manage resistance to change and removes barriers for transformation and resources
Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

Pay Range
Oncology Nursing Society uses a market-based approach to pay. Pay rates are established considering the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified periodically based on market analysis.
Anticipated Starting Pay Range: $85,594 to $99,502
