Partner Account Manager – Cloud, Channels and Community

As a Partner Account Manager (PAM) located in our San Leandro office your focus will be to align with region sales account management in the western part of the US to:

  • grow high level, quality relationships with high value partners and develop individual GTM plans for those partners.
  • hunt, qualify, coordinate and close Connected Services engagements within in your region.
  • recruit and manage partners within the large equipment supplier/manufactures sector with the goals of increasing OEM sales.
  • work closely with account management to secure sales and high-quality project implementations of new lighthouse technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the partner engagements including partner assessment, contracts, onboarding, technical requirements and co-marketing plan to generate new business. 
  • Maintaining accurate records of partners, contacts, opportunities, activities, pipeline, training, solutions, and other partner information in OSIsoft systems: Salesforce, website, Partner Solution Marketplace etc.
  • Work in close cooperation with other Partner Account Managers, Global Partner Managers and corporate Partner team to ensure consistency of messages, strategies, actions, etc.
  • Evangelize the different OSIsoft offering to partners and potential partners.
  • Provide recommendations to Account Managers and end-users for using partners in different situations and support Account Managers on co-sell opportunity with partners.
  • Develop a clear understanding of OSIsoft products and value proposition and be able to position the PI System to end customers and in reference to the Partner's business, products or services.
  • Support partners in all aspects of business operations to ensure that OSIsoft is easy to do business with; assist with issue resolution and minimized conflict within the partner ecosystem.
  • Marketing activities with Partner
  • Work with OSIsoft Events, Marketing and Corporate Communications to coordinate activities around related internal and external industry events.  
  • Maintaining accurate records of partners, contacts, opportunities, solutions, and other information in OSIsoft systems: SalesForce, Partner Solution Marketplace, etc.
  • Work with Partners to identify potential joint customers use cases and success stories.
  • Represent the partner team during executive meeting with customers

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years direct/indirect sales experience selling to customers at all levels in software, manufacturing, operations, IT, channels or partner management in the technology industry.
  • Industry knowledge pertinent to Utilities, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Metals & Mining, Paper, Life Sciences, transportation, or food and beverage is preferred.
  • Understand account expansion and creating a footprint into white space and emerging markets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams - Account Managers, Marketing, Pre-Sales support, Technical support, Legal, IT, Partner Program Team.
