Passport Health is one of our brands and is the largest provider of travel medical services in the United States with travel clinics nationwide. We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead our prospective diverse candidate search to review applicants, interview, new hire on-boarding for positions across the organization. Key positions will include, but are not limited to, call center representatives, nurses, sales professionals, etc. You’ll accomplish this by developing recruiting plans, creating sourcing strategies and resources and provide creative recruiting ideas. The ideal candidate will be organized, neat, friendly, a team player, outgoing and enthusiastic! You’ll also bring strong interviewing skills and Targeted Selection certification is a bonus!

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the development and execution of a recruiting and interviewing plan for positions across the company
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, universities and employees
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Post openings with professional organizations, universities, and in other position appropriate venues
  • Create job descriptions
  • Maintain good records during all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
  • Develop working relationships within the community at schools, colleges, and associations to aid in recruiting
  • Give presentations to increase awareness of the company at career fairs, community events some of which will be outside of regular business hours and on the weekend
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews
  • Review applicants to evaluate ability to excel in position
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data
  • Perform reference and background checks for potential employees
  • Assist in or handle writing and forwarding rejection letters
  • Assist in or handle interviewing and selecting employees
  • Assist in or handle preparing and sending offer packages
  • Assist in or handle preparing and sending new employee orientation packages
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
