The Riverside Transit Agency is recruiting for one vacancy in the Procurement Department. The Parts Clerk is responsible for typing, filing, recording, pulling and issuing of parts, receiving and putting parts away in stock room and assimilating data concerning the Maintenance Department, and maintaining records in the computer system as needed. Operating a forklift, using a pallet jack and dolly to transport parts.
The position is a warehouse work environment where it is typically cooler in the winter and warmer in the summer. The position works out of the Riverside and Hemet Offices. Position requires availability to work schedules that include weekends, holidays, and all shifts. Shifts are bid on by seniority and may change based on business needs.

Essential duties include but not limited to:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school or its equivalent with at least one (1) year of experience in parts inventory control required. Two years of parts inventory control experience is highly preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
At the time of application:
A current, valid, and non-restricted Class C Driver's License is required. Additionally, a DMV K4 printout (issued not more than 30 days prior to date of application) must be provided with the application. You must obtain the official K4 directly from the DMV, online history printouts are not acceptable and will result in your application being rejected.
Your established driving history must be clear of the following: 1) any suspensions within the past five (5) years; 2) may not have more than three (3) points within the past three (3) years; 3) no two (2) point violations within the past three (3) years.
No accidents which applicant contributed to cause within 3 years from your application date
Have appeared in court as required
Forklift certification is preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
